Ordering

How can I place an order?

Orders can be placed through this website or emailed to us using our part numbers and descriptions. We also gladly accept telephone orders for your convenience. We accept no responsibility for errors in orders taken over the telephone. Please double check all order confirmations that we send to you for accuracy.

Are you wholesale only?

Yes, we are wholesale only. If you do not have an account with us yet, you will need to submit a request to create an account before you can order. We may ask for a copy of your business license, reseller's permit, and/or website to verify that you are a retailer.

Payment & Pricing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, or Net 30 with approved credit. First orders must be prepaid.

What happens if my account is past due?

Accounts that are over 30 days past due will automatically be put on C.O.D. or Prepaid terms. You may reapply for credit after 6 months.

What currency are prices listed in?

Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.

What is your returned check policy?

All returned checks will be charged a $25.00 processing fee.

Shipping

Where do you ship from?

All orders are shipped F.O.B. El Monte, California.

How are shipping charges handled?

UPS charges are prepaid and added to the invoice. Common carrier freight charges are added to the invoice.

When will my order ship?

Orders placed before 1 PM PT go out the same day. All other orders may go out the same day or the following business day. Once your packages leave our warehouse, it is the freight carrier's responsibility to deliver them to you in a timely manner or as quoted.

Minimum Order

What is your minimum order value?

Our minimum order value is $50.00. Otherwise, a $5.00 handling charge will apply.

Split Shipments / Drop Shipments

Do you charge for split or drop shipments?

Yes. All split shipments and drop shipments are subject to a $5.00 packaging charge plus actual shipping charges.

Can I request blind shipments?

Yes. Blind shipments must be requested under the “Order Comments” section of the checkout page.

Returns & Damages

What is your return policy?

We gladly accept returns within 30 days of the receipt of your order, with prior approval. Please call or email to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from Crystal by Design and label the returned goods accordingly.

What should I do if I have an order shortage or shipping damage?

Shortages and shipping damages should be reported by email within 7 days from the date received, before any decorating is done. Please check the items over carefully, as decorated items do not qualify for replacements.

Is there a restocking fee?

Yes. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee of the return value.

Assembly

What is the turnaround time for assembly?

Orders requiring UV glue assembly will typically take 1 business day. Please call ahead to check current turnaround time.

Packaging

What do your packaging types mean?
  • Presentation Box: Blue faux-leather box with satin lining on the inside.
  • Deluxe Box: Blue or black sturdy 2-part paper box with foam or satin lining on the inside.
  • Gift Box: Simple cardboard box, no lining.
  • Bulk Packaging: Styrofoam, bubble wrapped, or safety box.

Engraving

What kind of decorating method do you offer?

We offer a sandblast engraving service.

How do I place an engraving order?

Please email art@crystalbydesign.com for engraving requests.

What file type do you need for logos?

The ideal file type is a vector file, such as an .eps or .pdf. Any other file type will need to be black and white (no grayscale), and at least 300 dpi.

Do you provide proofs?

Yes. Proofs are provided for all engraving orders. Customers should check the spelling, font, size, etc. of the artwork prior to approval.

What is the turnaround time?

Our typical turnaround time is 5-7 business days after artwork approval, but please contact us to check current turnaround times based on order size.
